Why due diligence is important? – Inspiring Story

A new vacuum cleaner salesman knocked on the door on the first house of the street.

A tall lady answered the door.

Before she could speak, the enthusiastic salesman barged into the living room and opened a big black plastic bag and poured all the cow droppings onto the carpet.

“Madam, if I could not clean this up with the use of this new powerful vacuum cleaner, I will eat all this sh@%…!” exclaimed the eager salesman.

Do you need Chilly sauce or Ketchup with that ? ” asked the lady.

The bewildered salesman asked, “Why, Madam?”

“We just moved in, & there’s no electricity in the house!”

Cow and Pig – Nice Story

There was once a man who was very rich and very miserly at the same time. The villagers disliked him intensely. One day he said to them, “Either you’re jealous of me or you don’t understand my love of money-God alone knows. But you dislike me; that much I know. When I die, I won’t take anything with me. I will leave it all for others. I will make a will, and I will give everything to charity. Then everyone will be happy.”

Even then people mocked and laughed at him. The rich man said to them, “What is the matter with you? Can’t you wait a few years to see my money go to charity?”

The villagers didn’t believe him. He said, “Do you think I’m immortal? I’ll die like everyone else, and then my money will go to charities.” He couldn’t understand why they didn’t believe him.

One day he went for a walk. All of a sudden it started raining heavily, so he took shelter under a tree. Under this tree he saw a pig and a cow. The pig and the cow entered into conversation, and the man overheard what they were saying.

The pig said to the cow, “How is it that everybody appreciates you and nobody appreciates me? When I die, I provide people with bacon, ham and sausage. People can also use my bristles. I give three or four things, whereas you give only one thing: milk. Why do people appreciate you all the time and not me?”

The cow said to the pig, “Look, I give them milk while I’m alive. They see that I am generous with what I have. But you don’t give them anything while you’re alive. Only after you’re dead do you give ham, bacon and so forth. People don’t believe in the future; they believe in the present. If you give while you are alive, people will appreciate you. It is quite simple.”

From that moment on, the rich man gave all he had to the poor.

Home Remedies for LOW BLOOD PRESSURE‏

Low blood pressure or hypotension refers to the fall in blood pressure below normal. It is a condition in which the action of the heart, in forcing the blood through the arteries, is weak. This is a direct outcome of a weakened and devitalised system.

Low blood pressure symptoms

Lethargy, weakness, dizziness

The patient with chronic low blood pressure may complain of lethargy, weakness, fatigue, and dizziness. The patient may faint, especially if arterial pressure is lowered further when he assumes an erect position. These symptoms are presumably due to a decrease in perfusion of blood to the brain, heart, skeletal muscle, and other organs.

Low blood pressure causes

Faulty nutrition, Malnutrition

The most important cause of low blood pressure is faulty nutrition. It makes the tissues forming the walls of the blood vessels over-relaxed, and flabby or streched. This results in less supply of oxygen and nutrients to the tissues. Malnutrition can result from a diet deficient in calories, proteins, vitamin C, or almost any one of the B vitamins.

Loss of blood, slow internal bleeding

Sometimes the blood pressure falls rapidly because of loss of blood. Low blood pressure may also develop gradually because of slow bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, or bladder.

Emotional instability

Emotional problems are a far more frequent cause of low blood pressure. To a lesser degree, prolonged disappointment and frustration may result in a subnormal blood pressure.

Low blood pressure home remedies

Low Blood Pressure treatment using Beetroot

The juice of raw beetroot is one of the most effective home remedies for low blood pressure. The patient should drink a cup of this juice twice daily for treating this condition Considerable improvement will be noticeable within a week.

Low Blood Pressure treatment using Indian Spikenard

The herb Indian spikenard is another effective home remedy for low blood pressure. It should be taken in doses of thirty to forty grains with a pinch of a little camphor and cinnamon (dalchini). An infusion can also be prepared by steeping 15 to 20 gm of the herb in 250 ml of boiling water, and taking it thrice a day.

Low Blood Pressure treatment using Epsom Salts Bath

Hot Epsom salt bath are one of the simplest remedy for low blood pressure. An Epsom salt bath is prepared by dissolving one to one and half kg of commercial Epsom Salt in an ordinary bath of hot water. The patient should remain immersed in the bath for ten to twenty minutes. This bath should be taken just before retiring to bed, and care should be exercised not to catch a chill afterwards.

Low Blood Pressure treatment using Nutrients

Protein, vitamin C, and all vitamins of the B group have been found beneficial in the prevention and treatment of low blood pressure. Of these, pantothenic acid is of particular importance. Liberal use of this vitamin alone often helps in raising the blood pressure. A diet which contains adequate quantities of complete proteins, B vitamin and, particularly, the nutrients that stimulate adrenal production, quickly normalizes low blood pressure.

Low Blood Pressure treatment using Salt

The use of salt is valuable in low blood pressure. Until the blood pressure reaches normal levels through proper dietary and other remedies, it is essential that the patient should take salty foods and half a teaspoon of salt in water daily.

Low blood pressure diet

Exclusive fruit diet

The treatment for low blood pressure should aim at rejuvenation of the whole system. To begin with, the patient should adopt an exclusive fresh fruit diet for about five days, taking three meals a day of fresh fruity fruits at five-hourly intervals.

Milk and fruit diet

Thereafter he may adopt a fruit and milk diet for two or three weeks. After the fruit and milk diet the patient may gradually embark upon a well balanced diets consisting of seeds nuts and grains with emphasis on fresh fruit and raw vegetables. Further period of all fruit diet followed by a milk and fruit diet may be necessary every two or three months in some cases, depending on the progress being made.

Other Low blood pressure treatment

Warm-Water enema treatment

A warm-water enema should be used daily to cleanse the bowels during the first few days of the treatment, and afterwards, if necessary. Those who are habitually constipated should take all the possible steps for its eradication. Daily dry friction and sponging should be undertaken by those suffering from low blood pressure.

Light walking, cycling, swimming and Breathing exercises

They should undertake breathing and other light exercises like walking , swimming and cycling. The patient should take sun and air baths and spend as much time as possible in the fresh air.

Avoid excessive work, anxiety

All living habits which tend to enervate the system, such as overwork, excesses of all kinds, needless worry, and negative thinking must be eliminated as far as possible.

Love hurts so much because…

Love hurts so much because we allow it to hurt. It’s human nature. Getting hurt is a part of life. Its how you handle the hurt or how you allow it to affect you. When two people are in a relationship there are good times and bad times being in a relationship is a great feeling.

Knowing that you have a person that loves you is such a wonderful thing. But sometimes people put to much faith in other people and then when that person doesn’t live up to the other persons expectations then there are a huge amount of disappointment and hurt. Why do we allow other people to control our emotions?

A broken heart really is one of the worst feelings in the world. When you find out somebody that you love, somebody that you gave such a huge part of yourself to betrayed you, is indescribable. You feel this pain in the middle of your chest and it literally just aches. It hurts oh so bad! And then the tears and crying set in. opinion you do need to allow yourself to grieve. You need to accept everything that has happened and then you just need to look inside yourself to find the courage and strength needed to move on. This is so much easier said than done. It is a part of life. One thing we have to learn is when one door closes three more usually open.

Everything happens for a reason . You must be strong and simply commit to yourself.

A few of the following quotes bring out the heartaches caused by love in the most striking manner.

  • If you have it [love], you don’t need to have anything else, and if you don’t have it, it doesn’t matter much what else you have.
  • All things we go threw; the happiness, sadness, pain and heartbreak make us who we are!
  • “I don’t miss him; I miss who I thought he was.”
  • “Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.”
  • “It is better to have loved and lost than never to have lost at all.
  • “What man’s mind can create, man’s character can control.”
  • One does not love a place the less for having suffered in it unless it has all been suffering, nothing but suffering.
  • If love is so important to have that one doesn’t want to lose it, why is it when we find true love we often don’t notice it?
  • When one is in love, one always begins by deceiving oneself, and one always ends by deceiving others. That is what the world calls a romance.
  • It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
  • Love is like the truth, sometimes it prevails, sometimes it hurts.
  • Where there is love, there is pain.
  • There is only one kind of love, but there are a thousand imitations.

Digital Photography Tips

Each year, millions of families hit the road, airport, trains or boats for family vacations, with most bringing a digital camera along to capture the memories. And each year, common rookie photog mistakes get made. Don’t let that be you. Here are some tips to make your pictures as cherished as your vacation memories.

Don’t forget the camera. Youve planned your route to the destination, and you’ve devised a pretty decent plan that resembles some sort of twisted personal tetris game for stuffing the luggage, kids, family dog and the suntan lotion in the car. Now, I know this may seem a little dumb, but pack the camera, lenses, batteries, memory cards and all the other fun stuff youll need for it AND put it in the car! Ill admit, Ive done this before. I had my camera bag all packed up and left it sitting in the house right next to the door.

Don’t forget the family. Vacation photos usually consist of having the family stand in front of some landmark, which is fine, but sometimes the family has to stand so far away to make sure you get the landmark in the background, even you cant figure out who is in the picture. Ive seen pictures where the photographer was so concerned with the big sign in the background, he didnt think about how his loved ones looked in the picture. All he got was their heads at the bottom. The picture looks more like some warning sign saying, Stay away or well cut off your heads than a nice vacation picture. Get closer to the family, and take a separate picture of the entire landmark. You can also have the family stand closer to you than the landmark (although passersby could walk behind them when you shoot).

Get candid. Not all the pictures have to be posed. I honestly feel candid shots of your family members in action make much better photos. Youre capturing your family member’s personality, who they are at that moment. Years from now you can look back at the photos and see how theyve changed.

Details. Details of an object can and sometimes be more interesting than of the whole object itself. If you come across a building that has a ton of detailing, take close up pictures of those details. Dont be afraid to get in there and get close! Dont freak out the security guard, though, or it might be a real short visit.

Get a new Perspective. Angles are a photographer’s friend. Not all pictures have to be straight on, eye level shots. Move around a little bit and check things out. You may find that the lighting is much better for the picture if you move 3 inches to your left and drop down 5 inches. Give your picture a totally new perspective on the subject.

Take a lot of Pictures..! One of the great things about digital cameras is that you can see the photos you take and delete them if you dont like them. People often set up an entire shot of the family, and then shoot one picture. How many times have you later realized someone’s eyes were closed or someone’s face was turned to the side? Don’t be stingy. Shoot several pictures and you have a better chance of getting a good image.

SOME Home Security Tips‏

While it’s difficult to protect your home from professional thieves, most home burglaries are done by amateurs. These thieves are more easily thwarted if you employ some of these simple security precautions:

*Plan to “burglarize” yourself. You’ll discover any weaknesses in your security system that may have previously escaped your notice.

*Lock up your home, even if you go out only for a short time. Many burglars just walk in through an unlocked door or window.

*Change all the locks and tumblers when you move into a new house.

*For the most effective alarm system, conceal all wiring. A professional burglar looks for places where he or she can disconnect the security system.

*Your house should appear occupied at all times. Use timers to switch lights and radios on and off when you’re not at home.

*If you have a faulty alarm that frequently goes off, get it fixed immediately and tell your neighbors that it’s been repaired. Many people ignore an alarm that goes off periodically.

*A spring-latch lock is easy prey for burglars who are “loiding” experts. Loiding is the method of slipping a plastic credit card against the latch tongue to depress it and unlock the door. A deadbolt defies any such attack. It is only vulnerable when there is enough space between the door and its frame to allow an intruder to use power tools or a hacksaw.

*If you lose your keys, change the locks immediately.

*Before turning your house key over to a professional house cleaner for several hours, make sure the person is honest and reputable as well as hardworking. Check all references thoroughly. If the house cleaner is from a firm, call your local Better Business Bureau to check on the firm’s reputation.

*Instead of keeping a spare key in a mailbox, under the doormat, or on a nail behind the garage, wrap the key in foil — or put it in a 35mm film can — and bury it where you can easily find it if you need it.

*Don’t leave notes for service people or family members on the door. These act as a welcome mat for a burglar.

*If the entrances to your home are dark, consider installing lighting with an infrared detector. Most thieves don’t want to be observed trying to get in a door.

*Talk to your neighbors about any suspicious people or strange cars you notice lurking about.

*To keep your tools from being stolen, paint the handles. Thieves avoid items that are easy to identify.

*Trees located near windows or shrubbery that might shield a burglar from view can be major flaws in your home-protection plan. Consider your landscaping plan in light of your protection needs.

*Ask for credentials from any sales-person who requests entry to your home. Ask that their ID be pushed under the door. Many professional burglars use this cover to check out homes. If you’re doubtful, check with the person’s office before letting him or her in.

*Do not list your full name on your mailbox or your entry in the telephone book. Use only your initial and your last name.

*If someone comes to your door asking to use the phone to call a mechanic or the police, keep the door locked and make the call yourself.

*Dogs are good deterrents to burglars. Even a small, noisy dog can be effective — burglars do not like to have attention drawn to their presence. Be aware, however, that trained guard dogs do not make good pets. Obedience training and attack training are entirely different, and only the former is appropriate for a house pet.

Securing Doors

*To help burglar-proof your home, install 1-inch throw deadbolt locks on all exterior doors.

*A door with too much space between the door and the frame is an invitation for the burglar to use a jimmy. Reinforce the door with a panel of 3/4-inch plywood or a piece of sheet metal.

*If there are door hinges on the outside of your house, take down the door and reset the hinges inside. Otherwise all a thief has to do to gain entry to your home is knock out the hinge pin.

*You can burglar-proof your glass patio doors by setting a pipe or metal bar in the middle bottom track of the door slide. The pipe should be the same length as the track.

*It’s easy for a burglar to pry through rot. Replace rotted door frames with new, solid wood.

*It’s simple for a thief to break glass panels and then reach in and open a doorknob from the inside. A door with glass panels should be either fortified, replaced, or secured with deadbolts that can only be opened with a key.

Securing Windows

*Protect your windows with one or more good locks, an alarm system, burglar-resistant glass, or many small panes instead of one large area of glass.

*When installing a window lock, drip some solder on the screw heads. It will stop a burglar from unscrewing the lock after cutting a small hole in the windowpane.

Why Parents go Crazy? [Fun]

A boss wondered why one of his most valued employees had not phoned in sick one day. Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed the employee’s home phone number and was greeted with a child’s whisper. ” Hello ? ”

“Is your daddy home?” he asked.

” Yes ,” whispered the small voice.

“May I talk with him?”

The child whispered, ” No .”

Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, “Is your Mommy there?”

” Yes .”

“May I talk with her?” Again the small voice whispered, ” No .”

Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, “Is anybody else there?”

” Yes ,” whispered the child, ” a policeman “.

Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee’s home, the boss asked, “May I speak with the policeman?”

” No, he’s busy “, whispered the child.

“Busy doing what?”

” Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the Fireman ,” came the whispered answer.

Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, “What is that noise?”

” A helicopter ” answered the whispering voice.

“What is going on there?” demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive.

Again, whispering, the child answered, ” The search team just landed a helicopter .”

alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, “What are they searching for?”

Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle… “ME .”
